How the Watchlist Works

Adding to your list

Pick a player or a team, then what to watch:

Any game — every game they play in the next 7 days.
A prop or market — players: Shots on Goal, Points, Goals, Assists or Goalie Saves; teams: game total, puck line or 1st-period total.
Line (optional) — e.g. 1.5 to see only the games where the posted line is exactly 1.5. Leave it blank to see whatever line is posted. For a puck line enter the team's side, like -1.5 or 1.5.

You can also add a player or team straight from their page with the Watch button. Up to 50 items.

Where the lines come from

Player props, game totals and puck lines are Hard Rock Bet lines only, for that exact game. Hard Rock posts no period totals, so 1st-period totals come from DraftKings (FanDuel when DraftKings has none). Lines update through the day as they are captured; props usually post the morning of the game.

Reading the list

Line match: the posted line is the one you are watching (or any line, if you left it blank). Different line: a line is up but it isn't yours — it may still move. Waiting for line: nothing posted yet. Playing: an "any game" item. The top section lists every match and game coming up, soonest first.

Player props also show how often he has gone over that line: this season (last season if he has under 5 games), the last 10 and the last 5.

Alerts on every site

When you are signed in, a small Your watchlist card pops up in the bottom-left corner of any GameDay Analytics site (NHL, NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, CFB or the home page) when something on your list hits today: a watched line is posted, or a player or team you follow on "any game" plays. It shows once after you log in on each site, and again whenever a new hit comes in that day. Close it with × or Dismiss.

Good to know

A player follows his current team, so a trade moves his games automatically. Goalies are listed whether or not they are expected to start — check the matchup before betting a Saves line. Your watchlist is private to your account and works with the same login as My Bets.
