How the NHL Prop Finder Works

Tonight vs Custom line

Tonight lists every player Hard Rock Bet has posted a line for on the selected date and grades each one against his own Hard Rock line. Only Hard Rock numbers are used — if Hard Rock hasn't posted a player he isn't listed, and no other sportsbook's line is ever shown. Lines refresh every 3 hours on game day, hourly inside 6 hours and every 20 minutes in the last hour before puck drop. All props ranks every market at once.

Custom line applies one prop and one line to every player in a season — use it to research before lines post or to test a number.

Hit rates

Over = share of games the stat finished above the line; Under = below it. A push (exactly on a whole-number line) counts as a miss. Only games the player actually dressed and logged ice time count. Saves only counts games the goalie started. Regular season only unless Include playoffs is checked. Goals lines Hard Rock posts as "over only" (anytime-goal style) have no Under row.

Season % is this season; until a player has 5 games it shows last season instead (tagged, e.g. '25-26). L5 / L10 / L20 are his last 5/10/20 games and carry across seasons. H2H is the hit rate against tonight's opponent this season and last (hits/games shown).

Shot %

The share of his team's shots on goal he takes, in the games he played: his SOG ÷ his team's total SOG. The big number is his last 10 games; Szn below is this season (last season until he has 5 games, tagged). Pair it with the opponent's Opp Rank (shots allowed) for Shots on Goal: a 12% share on a team that puts 32 shots on net projects to about 3.8 shots. Shown for every skater row regardless of prop; goalies show —.

Filters

Position F / D / G. Min TOI is average ice time (minutes) over his last 10 games — use it to drop fourth-liners and third-pair defensemen. Home/Away and Rest change which past games the rates use (B2B = second night of a back-to-back; Match tonight uses tonight's rest situation). Min games applies to the games behind Season %; the Min % floors drop rows below a Season / L5 / L10 rate.

Opp rank ≥ keeps soft matchups. Goals/Points/Assists rank opponents by goals allowed per game, Shots by shots on goal allowed per game, Saves by the opponent's own shots per game (more shots = more save chances). 1 = allows/generates the least, 32 = the most. Until a team has 10 games this season the rank uses last season.

Game log

Log opens the player's last two seasons game by game: the stat, ice time, the Hard Rock closing line for that game (once captured or backfilled — Hard Rock's archive starts with 2024-25) and whether it beat the line shown.
